How a job works

- Get a price. We reply with an estimate the same day, or visit within 1 to 2 days to measure and tap-test.
- Book a date. Jobs usually start 2 to 5 days after you confirm, within HDB or condo renovation hours.
- We repair, sand and varnish, with dust extraction and doors taped off.
- Inspect together and pay by PayNow or bank transfer once you're happy.
Before we arrive
- Clear small items, rugs and anything fragile from the rooms.
- Tell us if you need help moving beds and wardrobes.
- Let us know about any leaks, termite history or areas that sound hollow.
- Condo and EC owners: get the renovation permit and book the service lift.
- Keep pets and children out of the rooms during sanding and drying.
Aftercare
Sweep daily, damp-mop weekly with a well-wrung mop, and put felt pads under bed and chair legs. A light recoat every 3 to 5 years keeps HDB parquet going for decades.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an HDB permit to polish my parquet?
Sanding and varnishing an existing timber floor is maintenance, not a change to the flat's structure. HDB does set renovation hours: general work Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm, and noisy work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with no work on Sundays and public holidays. We plan the sanding inside those hours.
Should I keep the original HDB parquet or replace it?
If it's solid parquet with no widespread rot, keeping it is usually cheaper and better. It's thicker than most modern flooring and can be sanded several times. We'll tell you honestly if a section is beyond saving.
Can you do just the bedrooms?
Yes. Most HDB jobs are bedrooms only. A single bedroom starts from $350.
Will my neighbours be disturbed?
Sanding is noisy for a few hours per room. We tell you the day and hours in advance so you can let your neighbours know, and we keep the corridor clean.
